woah

Long time no see, eh?

I've got the day off today (gotta rest up for Rock the Universe tonight, yo), so I've been tooling 'round the net, while I wait for the call to go pick up the truck from the mechanics. I found my way over here and figured it might be fun to drop a little note in the old journal. 'Sides, I've been plenty nostalgic of late, so it's good to get at least a bit caught up with ya'll's posts.

I'm glad to see that life's been going good for most of you. Know that you've been in my prayers, especially you old school Aldersgaters.

God's been treating me real well of late - just layering blessings on top of blessings. He's got me hooked in with not one, but two great youth groups (one as college leader, the other as college student), not to mention a chance at maybe heading back to Aldersgate for a college bible study (led by Billy! how cool is that?).

I got a chance to spend a week in New Orleans with Allendale in July. We're all heavy hearted over what's been going down there these last weeks, but at the same time we were so blessed by everyone we got a chance to serve with there. God willing we'll be heading back there next summer.

I'm sure there's tons more I could find to ramble 'bout, but I'll be nice and not bore you all. It's been good talking at you again - who knows, maybe I'll even try doing it more than once a year. And hey, should you want to talk or catch up real style, drop me a note at thenewhope@gmail.com. or, if you ask real nice like, I might hand over my cell number. ;)

Peace & such.

Hey, it's good to hear from you! I don't ever update my livejournal anymore either. I never know what to say. Anyways, I'm glad to hear that things are going well for you, and I hope you will come to Aldersgate if Bill starts up that Bible study, because I'll be in it, at least for a while. Nope... I'm not at Asbury! I'm actually living with my mom in Tampa right now. It's kind of a long story, but it has to do with my stomach, and I'm hoping to be able to start at Asbury next semester in January. Anyways, I just wanted to say hello :o) I've been thinking about you guys... maybe we can get together sometime. Tell your mom I said hi, too, please! Talk to you later!

I'll definitely be going to that bible study, though I probably won't make it to the first meeting, as it's on my mom's birthday.

we should totally hang out some time. in fact, if you've got any free time this week I've got the car all to myself (mom's out of town on business) and a very flexible work schedule. so, let me know if you wanna go grab coffee or food an catch up. :)

Hey, sorry I didn't write back sooner. I've had kind of a hectic past couple of weeks. I don't know if you happened to hear through AUMC or anything, but I wound up back in the hospital because of my stomach :/ I'm doing better now, though. I know there's a Bible study this Thursday night, but I don't know if that's the first one since I haven't been to church in a while... I thought I remembered your mom's birthday being a different month than October, but I could be mistaken. Anyways, I guess what I'm trying to say is, I might be there, and if you're there, then I'll see you there! If not, maybe we could work something else out. Talk to you later!
